Update 09: Erased from history…directors continue their vindictive, petty and cowardly abuse of power
In true Orwellian “1984” style — “he who controls the present controls the past” — the club’s directors/committee members have, again, abused their position of power and implemented director Limb’s ‘bright’ idea to erase the name of a former member from Nottingham Squash Rackets Club honours history.
John Limb requested that a previous member be removed from the Honor’s [sic] Board. The member has discredited himself and the position on the board. Consensus agreed“

…and thus, with the wave of a magic wand — well, amateurishly scratched out with some blunt instrument — Andrew Hood was erased from the NSRC honours board.
Setting aside that anyone acquainted with director Limb would have difficulty in believing that the word “discredited” is within his lexicon, the real motivation behind this vindictive action is rooted in the directors’ collective embarrassment and misplaced outrage at their own damaging, oftentimes illegal, activities being exposed via publication on this website.
Within days of this website’s initial publication the directors considered commencing legal action, by way of a defamation claim, as the below committee minute extract indicates:
George Thunecke spoke of the merits or otherwise of a defamation claim against the [website’s] architect and/authors. Gawain Briars proposed that the club could proceed with the insurers’ approval if the committee so decided.

So here we are, seven months after initial publication, and no communication demanding removal of any of the site’s content has been received from the directors. The simple reason being that all of the content is true.
Just two simple words are sufficient to summarise this most recent of the plethora of damaging actions committed by the Briar’s-led directors and, indeed, to describe the directors themselves — pathetic and cowardly.
